Our Story
We started NexGuards after witnessing firsthand how organizations struggled with security awareness. Traditional platforms offered generic, checkbox-style training that employees ignored and attackers easily bypassed.
We knew there had to be a better way. By combining AI-driven personalization with realistic spear phishing simulations, we created a platform that actually changes employee behavior and measurably reduces human risk.

Mohamed Sherif
Co-Founder
Computer Engineering graduate from The American University in Cairo, graduating top of class with a 4.0 GPA and receiving the President's Cup. Former security consultant at PwC Middle East, penetration tester at CyShield and RSA Security, and founding cloud security engineer at noon, MENA's largest e-commerce startup. Author of an IEEE-published AI-powered cyber range paper backed by an OpenAI research grant. TEDx speaker on social engineering and Arab Security Conference speaker on dark web monitoring.
Youssef Abolatta
Co-Founder
Business Entrepreneurship graduate from The American University in Cairo and award-winning entrepreneur, having won multiple regional and global business competitions. Former Product Manager at Paymob, one of MENA's leading fintech companies. Youssef brings strategic vision, product expertise, and commercial leadership to NexGuards. He and Mohamed have been building together since childhood.
